Our Story
The Apothecary® Genetics company started growing in the early 90’s in Gig Harbor, Washington from our early beginnings, we were focusing on the benefits of THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, & CBC that led us on the quest to find the best hemp and cannabis strains in the world.

I realized then that I needed to create Apothecary® Genetics. Through my world travels, I have been able to find “land race strains” of hemp and cannabis, breed them and create hybrids that are suitable for industrial hemp and pharmaceutical grade Medical Cannabis.” – Bret Bogue
In 2004, Bret Bogue opened Apothecary® Genetics in Northern California and through research and development with key opinion leaders helped form and shape the modern Cannabis industry with such strains as Grape Ape, Old School Jams, JaCure Og, KAIA KUSH™, Silverback, and Sour Grapes.
In addition, we have continued our focus on high CBD, CBN, CBG, & CBC strains and have recently formed our 2 new divisions. Green Buffalo LLC & Imperial Investments LLC. Green Buffalo was formed specifically to work in the biomass, crude, distillate, isolate and wholesale market of the hemp and cannabis industry. Imperial Investments was formed to complete the first ever close-loop hemp banking insurance farming platform with our unique system we take the worries and financial troubles away from the farmer while providing seed, fertilizer, and a buy-back biomass program that changes the way farmers and bankers do business worldwide.
